Eight and a half days and 1400 miles later, Smile and Wave arrived in PR from Annapolis, Maryland. Benito Pinto, from La Regata, arranged for the nice guys of SeatowPR to give us a lift to meet the boat in the middle of the night as it

beamed reached under full sail between the Cabo San Juan lighthouse and Icacos. Benito, myself and Manuel Paez boarded a fast and dry Seatow RIB and headed northbound out of Puerto del Rey marina. It took only about 20 minutes to spot the bright white boat in the darkness near the lighthouse. The boat arrived in Fajardo at 2:30 am on Friday May 21st to cheers from a few onlookers and photographers that wanted to the first to check out the newest member of the local racing fleet.
Many thanks to Capt. Richard Ewing from Annapolis and my great delivery crew: Pamela Baez, Manuel Baez and Carlos Hernandez for delivering the boat in one piece!
Smile and Wave logged nearly 200 miles in ten hours.
